Lamindy (www.lamindy.com) is operated by Vibrant Sellers Pty Ltd ABN: 47 374 489 747, an Australian proprietary limited company headquartered in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Trading as "Lamindy", we operate an e-commerce store that ships products to customers primarily in the United States.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information when you interact with us through our website, emails, or customer service channels. It applies to all users worldwide.
We are bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). Where you are located in the United States, the European Union, or Canada, additional regional rights apply as set out in Section 7 below.

We do not sell your personal information

4. International data transfers
Vibrant Sellers Pty Ltd is based in Australia. Because we primarily serve customers in the United States and use cloud-based service providers, your personal information is routinely transferred to and processed in countries outside Australia, including:
- United States - Stripe, Shopify, Google, Meta, Zendesk, and shipping partners operate or store data here
- European Union - certain Shopify and Google infrastructure is located in the EU
We take steps to ensure that overseas recipients handle your information in a manner consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles. This includes entering into data processing agreements with our service providers. Where equivalent protection cannot be confirmed, we will notify you accordingly as required by APP 8.
By using lamindy.com, you acknowledge that your information may be transferred and processed internationally as described above.
5. Data retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law:
- Order history and transaction records - 7 years (Australian tax compliance obligations)
- Active account information - retained while your account is open, plus 2 years after closure
- Customer support records - 3 years
- Website server logs - 90 days
- Marketing consent records - retained for the duration of your subscription plus a reasonable period to demonstrate compliance
Once data is no longer required, we securely delete or de-identify it.
6. Cookies and tracking technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies on lamindy.com. These fall into four categories:

Additional rights by region
Australia (Privacy Act 1988 / APPs)
You may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at www.oaic.gov.au if you believe we have mishandled your personal information. We ask that you contact us first so we can attempt to resolve the matter.
United States - California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and Utah residents
You have the right to opt out of the "sharing" of your personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising (such as ad retargeting via Meta Pixel and Google). You can exercise this right by clicking the "Your Privacy Choices" link in the footer of our website, or by emailing us at hello@lamindy.com.
You will not be discriminated against for exercising any of your privacy rights.
European Union (GDPR)
We process the personal data of EU residents only where we have a valid legal basis: your consent, performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, or our legitimate interests (where not overridden by your rights). You have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to lodge a complaint with your national Data Protection Authority.
As a non-EU business processing EU resident data, we are in the process of appointing an EU representative as required by GDPR Article 27. We will update this policy once an appointment is confirmed. In the meantime, EU residents may direct privacy enquiries to hello@lamindy.com.
Canada (PIPEDA)
We comply with PIPEDA requirements regarding consent, access rights, and secure management of personal information. Personal data is not shared internationally without appropriate contractual safeguards.
How to submit a request
Email hello@lamindy.com with the subject line "Privacy Rights Request". Please include your account email address and full name so we can verify your identity. We will respond within 45 days as required by applicable law (or within a shorter period where required by your jurisdiction).
8. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information, including:
- HTTPS/SSL encryption for all data in transit
- PCI-DSS compliant payment processing via Stripe (we never store full card numbers, CVV codes, or bank account details)
- Restricted staff access to personal data on a need-to-know basis
- Hashed password storage
- Firewall and security infrastructure provided by Shopify and AWS
No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we work hard to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you suspect any unauthorised access to your account, please notify us immediately at hello@lamindy.com.
In the event of a data breach that is likely to result in serious harm, we will notify affected individuals and relevant regulatory authorities (including the OAIC under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme) as soon as practicable and as required by applicable law.
9. Sensitive information
We do not knowingly collect sensitive information as defined under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), including health information, racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, or biometric data. If our product range changes in a way that involves sensitive information, we will seek your explicit consent before collecting it.
10. Third-party links and services
Our website may contain links to external websites and social media platforms (such as Pinterest, TikTok, and Instagram). We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those external sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised.
For material changes - such as new data uses, new third-party sharing arrangements, or significant changes to your rights - we will notify you by email at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of lamindy.com after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
